Post Gum Pepper Mill
Sold Individually.
This mill has been hand turned from salvaged weathered Eucalyptus Gum in the Gold Coast hinterland.
This mill contains a unique ceramic mechanism that allows you to grind almost anything, including salt, pepper, coffee, herbs and spices.
The mechanism is fully adjustable from fine to chunky with 14 settings in total.
Black Stain: These mills have been coated with a natural black stain, leaving a matte black finish.
Ebonised: These mills are slightly lighter, showing more of the timber texture. The colour tones vary from mill to mill, as they are made from different varieties of reclaimed Eucalypt. Please contact our team for photos of the available mills.
Size: Approx. 32cm tall x 6cm diameter
Care: Any kind of whole peppercorns are suitable for use with these mills. The Danish designed grinding mechanism is also suitable for use with good quality white rock salt. We don’t recommend using Himalayan Rock Salt in these mills, as their high moisture content can block the mechanism.
See more info on using and cleaning the CrushGrind mechanism here.
Choosing your mill: Please note that each mill has been individually hand turned and therefore variations in size, colour and grain are to be expected.
Some mills have holes through them with a clear resin surrounding the mechanism so you can see as your salt or pepper grinds whilst others have no holes, but naturally formed cracks and imperfections in the salvaged timber.
