A field trip to traditional Japanese Washi papermakers inspired Norm Architects to create the Hashira Collection. A fusion of East and West and of tradition and modernity, the collection profiles a perfect balance of aesthetics and proportion and simplicity and character. The Hashira Pendant Lamp is carefully covered with translucent fabric that reveals the graphic structure within and suspended from the ceiling by a textile cord. Spreading ambient light in a room, it makes a purposeful pendant for all areas of the home.
