SHACK PALACE LAY-BY TERMS

When you initiate a lay-by with Shack Palace, you agree to the below terms. 

Term: Lay-by is available on a 12 week term and must be paid in full by the end of the 12 week period.

Collection date: Full orders must be collected by finalisation date.

Minimum Value: Lay-by is available on purchases of $100 or more.

Deposit: A minimum 20% deposit of the total amount is required to confirm the lay-by.

Payments: Payments can be made in our Byron Bay store (Shop 8, 1 Porter Street, Byron Bay), over the phone, or via bank transfer.

Cancellation: Failure to make the full payment by the final date (12 weeks from initiation) will be treated as a cancellation of the lay-by by the customer.

In this case, or any case where the customer wishes to cancel their lay-by, the 20% deposit is kept by Shack Palace as a restocking fee. The remainder of what has been paid may be applied back to the customer in the form of a store credit. Shack Palace do not offer refunds under any circumstances unless a product is damaged or faulty upon receipt.

Exclusions: Lay-by is not available on discontinued products or gift cards.

Modification: Individual items may not be added, removed or separated from a lay-by. Lay-by’s are only eligible for exchanges within 2 weeks of initiation as per our exchange policy. In order to exchange a lay-by, it must first be paid in full.

Privacy: Information collected for a lay-by transaction will be used for the purposes of contacting you regarding Shack Palace policies and procedures that may affect you.
