Ofrenda Sculpture

"Ofrenda" is a burnt wood sculpture by Colombian artist Camilo Andres Rodriguez Marquez. Hand-carved, this decorative piece features a base topped with a crescent-shaped form. The term "Ofrenda," meaning "offering" in Spanish, refers to a tribute made in honour of the deceased. It is commonly associated with the elaborately decorated altars used in the Day of the Dead, a tradition rooted in ancient Aztec culture.
