This tabletop is from an original Naga table dating back to the late 19th to early 20th century. Originating from Nagaland, India, this hand-carved table served as a grinding surface for grains like millet among the Naga tribes of North East India. The three central holes were used for grinding. The rich, dark brown wood exudes a rustic look and boasts a captivating old age presence. Carved from a single log, this table is a statement piece.

It's important to note that the surface is not entirely flat. This turn-of-the-century Nagaland grinding table is perfect for spaces requiring a long coffee table. It makes a striking statement piece, infusing warmth and texture into your surroundings.

Tabletop has been painted black. Suitable for internal and exterior use.

We also have a solid piece of oregon (180cm long x 30cm x 35cm) which has been painted the same colour as the tabletop available to be used as a base (will need to attach yourself).

Size: 340cmL x 67cmW x 10cm thick.

Enquire for more information on the base and delivery.
