At Shack Palace we like to think differently about the way we live, which includes how we eat.  

As well as sourcing beautiful, artisan products for the kitchen that help us enjoy mindful cooking & eating rituals, we love to share recipes that reflect our passion for whole, fresh, sustainably sourced food that we believe nourish, inspire & energise us. Our recipes have been developed by Shack Palace ‘mum’ Lorna who as a dietitian & nutritionist also has a love for preparing nourishing food to share with family & friends.  Preparing wholesome food with a positive intention is a wonderful way to nurture yourself and those around you.  

We embrace the idea of ‘uncategorised eating’ where we don’t identify with any particular diet or dietary regime but instead enjoy experimenting on ourselves to see how we feel with a variety of  ways of eating.  We have a strong sense that eating organic & biodynamically grown produce is not only the ideal option for our earth & environment, but is likely to be optimum for our health & well being also.  We also believe that a move away from  ultra processed, packaged food towards whole, fresh, sustainably produced, locally sourced produce will help reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases & metabolic imbalances and help us all live longer, happier, healthier lives.
